Falkland Pursuivant Extraordinary : ウィキペディア英語版
Falkland Pursuivant

Falkland Pursuivant of Arms is a Scottish pursuivant of arms of the Court of the Lord Lyon.〔(【引用サイトリンク】title=H.M. Officers of Arms , The Heraldry Society of Scotland - UK Heraldry )
The title was first mentioned in 1493 and it is derived from the Royal Palace of the same name located in Fife. The tile is often used for a Pursuivant Extraordinary: an officer who is not part of the ordinary complement of the Court but is called to duty when needed.
The badge of office is ''A stag lodged requardant Gules, gorged of a coronet of four fleur-de-lys (two visible) and four crosses pattee (one and two halves visible) Or.''
In November 2015 it was announced that the Lord Lyon intends to appoint George Way of Plean to the role as an extraordinary Officer of Arms from 5th January 2016 for five years.〔http://www.lyon-court.com/lordlyon/1016.html〕
